Ann Bernton

Personal finance, investing and preparing her own tax returns are activities Ann has always enjoyed. So in 2001, when she saw an ad for the Pacific Northwest Tax School, she enrolled.  She received her LTP license that year and has been employed by Pacific Northwest Tax Service since.  Getting to know clients and helping them with their unique situations is what she enjoys most.   In 2003 Ann successfully completed the Oregon Tax Board's Consultant exam.  She now holds the designation of Licensed Tax Consultant.

Ann's first career was in the field of nutrition.  She received a B.S. from the University of Illinois and interned at the University of Wisconsin.  Ann is also a Registered Dietitian and has worked in hospitals and public health programs in Idaho, Alaska and Oregon.

Ann resides in Portland with her husband and two children.  In her free time she likes to get out and enjoy the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. She also participates in field trials with her Basset Hound.  She is on the Board of the Westside Chapter of the Oregon Association of Tax Consultants and is a member of the American Dietetic Association.
