How to use our Price Estimate Worksheet:

Read each line item of the worksheet and determine if you feel the Form described might apply to you.  Put a check mark in the column next to the form name and description.  If you are reporting sale of stock we will need to know how many sales are shown on your Form 1099B brokerage statement.

The Price Estimate Worksheet is divided into the following sections:

  1. Federal Forms & Schedules
  2. State and Local Forms & Schedules
  3. Additional charges.
Federal Forms and Schedules

Forms shown under the heading of Long Form 1040 require use of Long Form 1040.  Forms shown under the heading of 1040A or EZ (Taxable Income under $100,000) can be filed using the short form.

State and Local Forms & Schedules

We can prepare your federal only, or if you wish. we can also prepare your state tax return. In general, we must prepare your federal tax return before we can prepare your state tax return, therefore we do not prepare state-only tax returns.

Additional Charges

In general, our form fees are our total charges.  If you would like to electronically file your tax return, there is an additional fee of $10.

If you would like to apply for a refund loan, additional bank charges and loan application fees apply.

If you would like us to prepare a business profit and loss as a part of preparing your tax return, a fee of $50 per hour will apply.
